Workouts

For many athletes having a strong core is a vital part of training. It can help towards performing better by making the body more stable leading to better technique and increased power output. A weak core can often lead to the wrong technique or position of an exercise whether that is an exercise in the gym or riding a bike. For example, a cyclist needs a strong core to ensure no power is lost when turning the pedals. A cyclist with a strong core will have a solid position on the bike with little movement from the upper body. This means power output is maximised as no power is lost by movement from the upper body. This is a similar case to most athletes in other sports.
