Surge Energy Bars are exceptional for long training days and racing. With 38g of carbohydrates they are a tasty way of keeping the body fuelled up. With the bar being primarily oat based it tastes more like a treat than an energy bar. With it's carbohydrates, great taste, and enough bar to fuel for hours, it is a great product to have in your pocket.
When choosing this product we wanted to have a great tasting bar that had lots of carbohydrates. Our Surge Energy Gel is outstanding for 20-30 minutes of energy however, if you are wanting long-lasting energy then a Surge Energy Bar is what you need. Each bar is a 60g serving, the perfect size according to athletes we work with.
Like our energy gels we needed an easily digestible product. Therefore we ensured that our energy bars were a soft and easily breakable bar to eat. This is something that was important to us. Feedback from our athletes told us that they didn't like the hard crunchy energy bars from other brands. They were hard to eat and often meant a drink was needed after… This meant that our bars needed to be unique and unique is what we delivered. We believe we have got an amazing energy bar that is a favourite among most of our customers, especially cyclists. We believe this product will become a key part to perfecting your cycling nutrition.
This product alongside the rest of the range has been designed and developed by athletes. In addition we have guidance from various sports nutritionists to help us develop world class sports nutrition products.
